Kelly and Ryan got married on beautiful late summer Saturday afternoon of 26.09.2010. (you can see their wedding day here: http://www.phototom.co.uk/blog/wedding/kelly-and-ryan-wedding-at-oldwalls-leisure-gower/954) Due to their wedding service starting as late as 4pm they decided to postpone their wedding couple photoshoot and have it done separately, with no rush, pressure or guests waiting for them. I have to say it was a fantastic idea, we met up two days later at their wedding venue (Oldwalls Leisure) and after they’ve jumped back into their wedding frocks we went to photograph them in Weobley castle first, then on Rhossili Beach, Gower.
I loved the fact that Kelly looked a bit different than on the actual day, my make up artist created this vintage inspired look by creating a delicate smoky eye make up and adding a vintage curl in Kelly’s hair. Fabulous idea were also ‘the flowers’ – Kelly designed and made them herself (knowing that real wedding bouquet wouldn’t last long enough for the photoshoot). I also appreciated this bride’s creativity at arranging props that worked so beautifully on a day!
