David and Lee got married last Saturday at the mighty Llangoed Hall in Brecon. I’m lacking words to describe how beautifully emotional and just simply stunning their big day was. The atmosphere all around was so wonderful that this first wedding of the year flew by without me realising I was officially back to work! ;) Both grooms looked absolutely ACE in their bespoke, matching attire; there were giggles, jokes, hugs, tears, cakes, drinks, food and some serious dancing. The weather was typically Welsh but no one seemed to mind the drizzle, not even our cameras. I was lucky to be accompanied by my dear student Christina from Dusseldorf who flew all the way from Germany specifically to second shoot this wedding for me (check Christina’s website: http://www.christinalou.de.) She was a huge help and an absolute delight to work with. I haven’t included any of her photos below as this is just a quick teaser but having briefly looked at her images I am seriously proud of what she had learnt so far, and I’m officially hoping to photograph a wedding by her side in Germany one day! ;)
David & Lee, congratulations to you again, and thank you for letting us capture this truly special event in your lives. I really hope the images portray the vibe of the day and the love you share.
Dear random reader, I hope you enjoy the below set of photographs. And if you happen to know of anyone getting married and in need for a South Wales wedding photographer I’d be ever so grateful if you passed my name. xx
