Making the most out of my day and blogging during lightroom export. Below Clara and Guff’s engagement session that took place back in Feb, cold but cheerful afternoon we spent together within their wedding venue grounds of St Donats Castle. I had a chance to see this pretty amazing location, St Donats is one of my ‘I want to photograph there’ venue list so am well excited for Cara and Gufff’s celebration. I quietly hope we’ll be more lucky with the weather on their wedding day as engagement session afternoon was pretty unfriendly – gloomy, drizzly and freezing cold.

I have so many recent sessions to show from the past few months but going with the spirit of this years Spring I decided to show this rainy, drizzly engagement in Ogmore. Lovely couple, fantastic car and terrible weather.

Pleasure to finally blog this stunning winter wedding of Joanne and James that took place back in December last year at St Pierre, Chepstow. It was totally amazing, funny, romantic… and funny again. Due to the short winter day and character of the venue we were very limited with natural light plus December rain added a bit to this photographic challenge BUT I believe it’s looking rather neat in the end. I hope you like.

I’m very excited to be able to share the ’Enchanted Blossom’ bridal editorial. My client was wonderful Syran from Syran John Hairdressing who turned out to be not only a fabulous hair stylist but most of all extremely creative person. She made majority of props as well as art directed the whole project. I was well impressed with how big this shoot turned out to be and in the end I am admittedly really happy with the images, hope you will be too!

Today I spent a day at Kayley and Matt’s house and photographed the newest addition to the family. It feels just fantastic to be attending the most remarkable moments in new family’s life – I was privileged to capture their wedding nearly a year ago and now the newborn baby boy. This is only a teaser, I’ve downloaded photographs, wiped my memory cards and couldn’t quite refrain from editing just one sneaky frame. It’s the one with the wink to Max’s dad – he got himself a little lad at the end of the day!

The end of March and April to date have been totally work crazy for me. I’ve done 12 engagement shoots and 8 weddings within those 3 weeks and am only now editing it all gradually. This shoot I literally completed and sent off to the couple today, because it’s been on my mind for the past 2 days it seemed right to share it now that is fresh. ; ) Abi and Matt are just the dream models to photograph – not only beautiful but so stupidly romantic! Well you can see this shining through the below set. Again the weather was very helpful (although cold!) and made the whole shoot look like middle of the summer (plus I’ve added this feel in editing too, of course). I wonder where this fantastic weather is gone, so far April weren’t too lucky! I keep my fingers crossed for the rest of the month, we all really need Spring to come back! x

K-J and Alex vintage railway engagement

It’s an utter pleasure to be finally launching my new website and name – thank you for looking and I hope you like! You have to excuse all the unfinished bits and bobs, I will slowly be making things perfect but for now I hope it’s all good enough to officially start existing. : )

I don’t think there’s a better way of launching my new website than doing so with the below set of images. I must say it was one of the most spectacular shoots I’ve ever done, with some crazily photogenic conditions AND people – Kirsty and Alex rocked their shoot from start to finish and I was in photographic awe most of the time. Words are not my best side so I’ll leave you to the below set of images (and prettiness of my new website. ; )) x
