pre wedding session @ Margam Park & Cardiff – Non and Mike

Despite the horrendous weather last month I still managed to have a sunny pre wedding session at Margam Park with totally rocking couple. Non and Mike are getting married very soon at St Catherine’s Church in Swansea with wedding reception organised in National Waterfront Museum in Swansea. By the sound of this wedding venue I sense a wedding different from most others (I’m looking forward to some modern architectural scenario for a change!) and the couple, as you can see on below images, is a pure photographic treat.:)Me and Non were planning this engagement session for months shuffling with ideas for props and locations, I suppose Mike was just told what to do…;). We ended up at Margam Park in Port Talbot on a beautifully sunny Sunday couple of weeks ago having a proper picnic with loads of sweet treats and then stopping by at Cardiff marina for a few more images.

Have a look at the below photographs.:)

I really enjoyed myself that afternoon, below few backstage shots to prove it.;)

Those cakes were yummy.

Nice! The lighting conditions look very challenging. Nice to see a few shots of you at work reflected in the sunglasses :)

Non & Mike – » photoTOM BLOG - February 8, 2012 - 1:05 am

[...] I’ve recently completed editing this very special wedding in Swansea Waterfront Museum. Non and Mike rocked their day every possible way, it was wonderfully designed, decorated, thought through, full of laughter and emotions. Truly remarkable day, and I do hope the images are doing it justice. Thank you to Julia for second shooting with me that day, it was great having her there. Before scrolling through Non and Mike’s wedding you might want to have a look at their engagement shoot, as it was AWESOME and I’m well proud of some really creative portraits we’ve taken that day.So their e-session can be seen here. wedding photography @ Green Meadow Golf Club – Chantal and James

Chantal and James got married in  Holy Trinity Church on Christchurch Road in Newport followed by wedding reception at the Green Meadow Gold Club in Cwmbran. I thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful, summer day filled with loved by camera colour and laughter.

Bride was getting ready at her parents house together with the maid of honour and 3 bridesmaids. Whilst the bride had her make up done I photographed all the wedding details. I think the flowers were just stunningly put together, very unusual combination of colours worked so well with the strong orange bridesmaids dresses. Rather unusual was also seeing the maid of hour wearing white, I wonder if the bride decided on this before of after royal wedding!;)

Huge thank to my dear friend Tim who came a long way to help me photograph this wedding. We felt welcomed by bride and groom families during the morning preparations and loved the atmosphere throughout the rest of the day. Tim had to drive back home before the speeches so it was me on my own laughing out loud and later in the evening admiring the funkiest first dance I’ve ever seen (shame I don’t have a video here to show you! photographs capture some visual aspects of it, but a film would be brilliant recording the entire performance!:))) )

Hope you enjoy the below wedding photographs.

Fabulous as always! Good work Aga! x

pre wedding photography in the middle of nowhere – Nia and Stu :)

As mentioned in the title. I met Nia and Stu 10 days before their big day for their pre wedding session, very much of a short notice but wasn’t August weather awful? I’m sure I’ve been complaining about it before so better stop here. It was funny, natural, and a bit hearty;)Big day coming this Saturday at Parkfields Country House, Pontshill, I sense I will be laughing loads.:)

Your Wedding Day Magazine publication

At last the feature is out so I am allowed to show it!:))) You can find my grooms wear fashion photographs in the fashion section of Your Wedding Day Magazine, September issue. I was invited to take part in a photo shoot organised specifically for this fashion spread, with Welsh businesses participating and Brendan from Your Wedding Day creative directing. I have done fair amount of fashion work in my history but  have never worked with male models solely  - so it was an interesting venture especially that my models were Mr Wales and two runners! We decided on Dyffryn Gardens for the shoot’s location and were very lucky with the summer weather on a day. I had fun working with 3 charming men, and thank you to Anthony who despite the broken foot  fancied keeping me company.:)

below few more images displayed big, plus some that didn’t make it to the feature.
