Childhood sweethearts Scott & Jay booked me two years in advance and spent much time and effort planning their fairytale wedding at St Donats Castle. It was a by all means perfect, beautifully photogenic, romantic, summer wedding. The bride looked stunning, her smile did not disappear from her face all day – brightening every space she entered.
St Donats is one of the top wedding venues in my books, I have photographed there 5 times this summer and each of them was different and uniquely exciting. There is so much to do within the venue’s grounds and close vicinity! I feel lucky every time I get to work there, the venue seems to attract truly wonderful people. Yes I am using the a7rII at every wedding along with a d4s. I shoot about the same number of photos on each body. Very happy with the combination.
For other work that only requires one camera body, I go with the Sony every time :)
