Up on the blog today is the gorgeous engagement of Christina and Stefan in sunny Dusseldorf.
Back in September I was photographing a wonderful wedding in Holland (blog to follow soon!) and it just so happened that I was able to pay a visit to my industry friend (and future client) Christina. We suddenly decided it would be a fantastic idea to do a shoot ‘in the fanciest spot of Dusseldorf’ (her words!). When she took me there my heart pretty much stood still. It’s a little known fact that I studied and practised architecture before venturing into the world of wedding photography. These gorgeous buildings by one of the finest modern architects Frank O’Gehry greeted me, I have only previously seen them on the pages of architectural magazines or in Power Point presentations in Uni. My long forgotten architectural soul came to life for a brief moment, it was like a blast of my past life blinding me for a moment. I was literally IN MY ELEMENT! <3
But back to the images. Introducing Christina and Stefan – and the results of our 20 minutes shoot in their beloved Dusseldorf. Due to my flight back home later that day we couldn’t wait for ‘the perfect light’ so this is what can be done in the midday German sunshine These two are in the process of planning their wedding day and currently looking at Mexico as the destination, I literally CANNOT WAIT for them to finalise their plans!!
I’ll leave you to a bunch of my favourite images. :)
OH! MY! GOD! I AM IN LOVE WITH THEM!
I am laughing so hard looking at us laughing :-DDDD AGA YOU ARE AMAZING! I always know that you are one of the best photographers out there but it is really cool to see us in front of the camera, just as we are. In terms of the harsh light and well, less than 20 minutes time – only a true master can turn this crazy German sun into images like this! I CAN’T WAIT FOR OUR WEDDING, YOU ARE A STAR!
Hi Aga,
Thanks so much for the wonderful time with you and these beautiful pictures. Hope to see you soon!!
great photos Aga! that location looks unreal!
I love the colors and how natural the couple looks! Those buildings in Düsseldorf are amazing! :)
Thanks Manuel! I really loved it there too.
Wonderful tones, energy. Well done Agus.
Really like the quirkiness of the architecture and how you played with it, great work!
