Wedding Photography at Cardiff Castle, South Wales - Amie & Chris

Chris & Amie’s wedding was a British/American union. It was all planned from the US and came together beautifully.

I had met Amie a couple weeks beforehand, Chris on the other hand, was a mystery. The first time I saw his face (and heard his gorgeous American accent) was on the morning of the wedding. Andy was second shooting and had a blast hanging out with the boys getting ready whilst I photographed the ever so bubbly bridal party. The girls’ room was filled with giggles and glasses were filled with champagne – just how it should be!

I know I keep droning on about how lucky we are to live in such a spectacular part of the world, but Cardiff Castle is one of the many reasons I love Wales so much! As a background for wedding photographs Cardiff Castle is spectacular. The banqueting hall, the library, the undercroft – the list of incredible photo shoot locations is endless. There were a lot of American guests at Chris & Amie’s wedding and I loved seeing them all so enthralled by the history of the building. I should mention the staff, who are not only wonderfully accommodating, but are a font of historical knowledge – they were telling us anecdotes, opening secret doors and truly adding to the experience! :)
